Portfolio Director Vacancy

 

Working Hours - Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00

Location: White Lion Street, Islington

Contract Type – Permanent

Salary – Competitive

The Portfolio Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of their own small portfolio of properties along with running one of the teams in the office.   The portfolio will typically comprise of a few larger properties and the team will consist of 5 – 8 members of staff.

 

Key Responsibilities:

​

  • Confidently dealing with all aspects of block management and any queries raised by your team or clients  

  • Handling day-to-day property maintenance issues reported in your portfolio  

  • Dealing with enquiries and disputes in your own portfolio and any issues escalated by your team

  • Managing all Health & Safety and statutory aspects of your portfolio; advising clients on their obligations and ensuring that our buildings are compliant 

  • Liaising with other teams internally as required to support your portfolio and team

  • Attending weekly management meetings – briefing on your portfolio and discussing any company or industry-wide changes

  • You are self-motivated and engaged, with a desire to contribute to the office environment and to support colleagues on a daily basis

  • IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

  • Experienced in block management (minimum two years), with an all-round understanding of the major issues likely to be encountered

  • Ambitious, dynamic and motivated

  • Strong communicator, both verbally and written, with good use of grammar and spelling

  • Proactive and responsive with excellent time management skills

  • Able to run a meeting with clients to discuss accounts and issues at each property

  • Self-sufficient in terms of dealing with issues and equally adept at raising issues to management as required.
