We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team in Angel, Islington.


The Receptionist is the first point of contact in the office for clients, contractors and visitors visiting three different companies.  They are responsible for welcoming the visitors and dealing with them appropriately.  There will also be phone answering, key management, administration and office management tasks which are all a key part of the daily job.

Other duties include:

  • The position is seated at the first desk in the office so the candidate is responsible for ‘meeting and greeting’ all visitors and dealing with them politely and efficiently.

  • Responsible for showing clients who are in for meetings to the meeting rooms, settling them and arranging drinks etc.

  • Franking daily post and ensuring that post is taken to the mailbox outside the building at the end of each day.

  • Ensuring the office is kept in good order

  • Liaising with the health and safety manager to ensure that the office is H&S compliant at all times

  • Managing keys

  • Placing, tendering and renewing any required contracts for the office e.g. cleaning, window cleaning, plants etc. and dealing with any issues arising with these contractors

  • Keeping central administration manuals up to date
