We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Associate/ Manager to join our team in Angel, Islington.

​

Overview  

Marketing Associate is responsible for managing the overall marketing strategy for three sister companies. The role ensures that the way the consumer is communicated to aligns with the brand. The person needs to be brand conscious, with a focus on developing marketing strategies for a specific group of customers for each sister company. The role requires proactivity and agility, someone who is always on the lookout for new markets and demographics that may require the company’s services. Marketing associate also determines the marketability of new services and drafts advertising pricing and product placement strategies. 

The candidate is required to be a self-starter, confident and a strong communicator (both in writing and orally).  The role reports to the directors, being part of a two-person team so being organised, efficient and detail-focused is essential, as is the ability to both work alone and as part of the bigger team.

 

Job Description

  • Experience in creating annual marketing strategies by setting and adjusting KPI-s, utilising market research, competitor and cost-benefit analysis to set the marketing course for three companies. 

  • Reporting on KPI-s and ROI-s to main internal stakeholders on a monthly basis and adjusting the marketing strategy as required.

  • Website management – for our own and several client websites, maintain, update and write copy for the websites – these are all built on the Wix platform.

  • Keeping abreast of marketing and paid media trends, legislative developments and opportunities/innovations (for example the phasing out of third-party cookies and its impact on digital advertising) to adjust the marketing strategy for all three companies.

  • Keeping a marketing calendar using Monday online software (or similar) to streamline marketing management processes.

  • Designing and writing copies for material which may include brochures, client newsletters, press releases, social media posts, news updates, infographics, etc. utilising Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Canva platforms.

  • Brand management - monitoring and ensuring the branding is consistent across all company documents.

  • Preparing and writing marketing material and pitch documents for client meetings, including creating high-level PowerPoint and Word Documents. 

  • Portal Management, including keeping up to date with OnTheMarket, Zoopla, Rightmove and BYM portals.

  • Assist the Digital Marketing Associate with multi-channel Marketing initiatives including Events, PR, and digital (LinkedIn, website, and email).

  • Facilitate the execution of multi-media formats in Adobe Illustrator.

  • Write, edit and enhance compelling articles and text for the three companies. 

  • Research competitive landscape and introduce creative ideas to set us apart.

  • Collaborating with Digital Marketing Associate to set out budgets and strategies for SEO and email marketing campaigns.

Experience Required
  • Experience with using WIX to build and design websites is a must. 

  • Relevant experience at either Marketing Executive or Marketing Manager Level.

  • More than 2 years’ experience with creating and managing marketing strategies on a company-wide level.

  • Experience with copywriting and creating both written and visual marketing content for blogs, newsletters, brochures, etc. 

  • Experience with email marketing and social media management is advantageous.

  • Experience with graphic design tools similar to Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is advantageous.

  • Prior experience in property is not essential – but you need to be interested in it.
