Selection process


LBM aims to attract and retain the highest level of candidates. Frankly, we spend a lot of time reviewing and interviewing applicants and only make offers to the very best applicants. If you consider yourself to be among these, and would like to join a team of like-minded staff, we would love to hear from you.

In the first instance, you should send a copy of your CV and a cover letter or email to careers@blockmanagement.com outlining the role that you are applying for and why you consider yourself to be a suitable applicant.

Successful applicants will be invited to a first interview with two of our team members. This will typically last for 30 – 40 minutes and is an opportunity for us to ask you questions about your experience and knowledge, but equally importantly for you to get to know us.

Applicants who are successful after the first interview will then be invited back for a second interview, which will include a ‘lease test’ and a second test of short questions and answers to gauge your level of knowledge. We do not expect anyone to get everything right – but we know what scores successful applicants for each position typically achieve. Following the test, which lasts about an hour, there will be a second interview typically with an Associate Director.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome shortly after the second interview.
